Brett has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years in both commercial and residential construction. Graduating from LSU Construction Management in 2004, he worked his way up in commercial construction from field onsite assistant to senior project management quickly. Brett’s focus on details in each stage of his projects has set him apart from others in his field. His focus and drive prompted him to start his own construction company over a decade ago which has evolved into Pelican & Co. Construction. He has developed relationships as the “go to” contractor for many engineers, architects, and designers and their clients around South Louisiana. Based in Baton Rouge, Brett enjoys his time off with his wife Marcy, 4 kids, and 2 dogs often cheering for his favorite teams (including his kids’ teams).

Marcy serves Pelican & Co. Construction as the in-house financing expert. She is a licensed mortgage loan officer with Redstick Financial, a premier mortgage brokerage that serves all of Louisiana. Marcy comes from a background in real estate, construction, and finance. In 2020, she earned her MBA which has helped her marry these areas of expertise into a thriving business. She is your top choice for mortgage financing not just for her expertise, but for her attention to detail, clear and consistent communication, and passion to help people achieve their goals. Vice-President- Managing Partner
Michael is degreed in both construction management and mechanical engineering from LSU. He has worked in the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors during his career over the past 30 years. Michael truly enjoys each stage of the building process- from helping clients drafting out initial ideas to completing the last few details of a building project- his fervor for construction is apparent when you meet him. His engineering background guides his precision focus and brings a higher standard of quality to each project he tackles. Michael is a native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of Catholic High School. He is married to Aubrey. Together they have a 3-year-old daughter Adler and a 50-pound puppy named Hazel. When he’s not officially working, he loves woodworking and building furniture.
